DanceWorks The Tour, a two-day masterclass series will kick off July 2016. This rigorous two-day program will push students in both Contemporary and Hip-Hop styles. DanceWorks recognizes that these are the two most popular and desirable styles of dance in the industry right now. We have a knowledgeable, experienced faculty who will focus on technique, performance quality and artistry/individuality.

 

Each day of the program includes three workshop classes and a Q&A/Mock Audition with a talent agent from BLOC. Day ONE classes are all contemporary style classes and Day TWO classes are all hip hop style classes. Students can choose to register for one or both days of the program. Each workshop class will also be professionally photographed and videoed for students. Classes are approximately an hour and forty minutes long. The Q&A/Mock Audition classes are optional and open to all students. Every student will have the opportunity to “audition” in front of a real talent agent and will receive personal feedback on their technique, auditioning skills and personal style. This is a unique opportunity, as most dancers never get feedback following an audition.
