equilibrium DanceWorks Artistic Director/Founder, Kevin, is a New Jersey based choreographer. He founded equilibrium with the belief that telling stories through dance can bring people together and expose the commonality of all humans. Kevin began his formal dance training at Union City High School and performed around the state with their dance company. Kevin attended Mason Gross School of The Arts at Rutgers University, where he was studying for his BFA in Dance Performance. He decided that he wanted to produce and create work instead of performing it, so he withdrew from the conservatory's program. Kevin is constantly re-developing his choreographic range. In 2015, Kevin's work was presented at the NJHS Dance Festival, equilibrium Choreography Showcase, Detroit City Dance Festival, as well as his online channel. Recently, Kevin has been teaching at studios and schools around the tri-state area.
